We are a Korean couple with two cats and no children. I'm a school teacher and my husband works part-time as a programmer. My husband is a keen cook and we both are clean and tidy. We are Christians and that's a big part of who we are. We try to be approachable and kind. I have a passion for interior-designing.

I am an English specialist teacher at a public school and would be happy to help you with your English and can provide tutoring. I am happy to set 15 min after dinner to help you with your school work.

Travel to Auckland City Central
There is a bus stop 2 min walking distance from home, on the same street. There is also a train station nearby. As we are one of the closest suburbs to City Central, travel time and the bus fee (as NZ bus fee is expensive) to City Central will be considerably less compared to living with other homestay families.

This is a big brand new house with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. There are two rooms upstairs, two bathrooms and two rooms and one bathroom downstairs. There is a separate access to and from the house downstairs.

House Rules

Food Please rinse your dirty dishes after meals and put them in the dishwasher labelled dirty. We do not allow heavy cookings in the house to prevent house fires. In case of fire, please use the fire extinguisher under the sink. Bathroom Please brush your hair thoroughly before going into shower to prevent clogging of the drain. After shower, please remove your hair on the drain using toilet paper in the basin cupboard. Daily maximum of 10 min shower is allowed per person in the house (15min for people with long hair). If you wish to have shower twice or three times a day, please allocate your time accordingly so that it doesn’t exceed the time. Toilets All men in the house are to use the toilet sitting down, not standing, to keep the toilet clean and smell-free. Room Please do not take food or drinks into your bed as it could ruin the duvet inner, mattress and electric blankets. Homestay Fee We would like to ask that the homestay fee be set up on direct debit. If for whatever reasons, you are unable to do so, please ensure that all fees are in by 7.30 am on the day.
