Hello ! And welcome to my family here in the DMV area . We currently live in Fairfax County VA near George Mason University ,NOVA, Chantilly High School and Fairfax High School and close to all the schools near Tysons Corner as well. We have a lot of experience with international students already and we look forward to sharing our culture, language and beautiful capital area here in the US with you . We can not wait to meet you!
We are a tight family of all adults Males and Females were the youngest is 30 years old . We normally work Monday through Friday so we like to do things on sat and we normally do a family dinner or barbecue , or something relaxing on Sunday . We love going to museums, festivals, concerts, parks , farmers markets, Amusement parks , carnivals , expos, movies and shopping. We would love for you to come along and experience all the things there are to experience in this area . As mentioned before we have hosted before and we have been international students as well so we understand being a international students is also about the experience of the culture as well as learning the language. We have had student come along on our outings and they enjoyed it very much . We do have 4 medium to big dogs and they are all professionally trained , 2 cats and at times when we don't have international students stay with us we do foster work with puppies that stay in the she shed separate from the main house. You would have to be ok with animals , now they won't go in your room or bathroom but they are in the house. We are able to separate them though and keep them to certain parts of the house so you don't have to interact with them a lot unless you want to. The 2 cats roam around the house but stay mostly to 1 room.
There are a total of 4 adults in the household and the house is pretty big with 7 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, formal dining room, Kitchen and 3.5 bathroom . We have maid service that comes every 2 weeks so they would clean your space and the bathroom you use plus the whole house. The house also has a backyard with a large deck and a vegetable garden with a Gym/movie Shed. Also in your room you have internet and a TV with cable so you can watch TV and relax in your room as well.There is a bus stop 10 min walk from the house and Vienna metro and fair oaks mall is very close to us as well, so there is a lot to do around the house.
I am a teacher in Fairfax County public schools , Gisella and John works for Verizon corporate and Elissa goes to school . We look forward to welcoming you to our home!

No smoking indoor only outdoors . You can have friends over just can't be loud . You have to be ok with dogs and cats they are not in your room but they are in the house. The in law suite room there are no dogs or cats allowed, they are only upstairs . We allow just small mammals, fish , and birds.

We are in Fairfax County VA area about 35 min from washington DC driving with a bus stop about 7-8 min from the house walking. We are 20 min from Tysons corner mall and about 15 min from Vienna metro station. This is a awesome quite suburban area where it is very safe and people go and walk their dogs at night . The library , gym , supermarket and store are all within walking distance of the house or you can bike. If you drive we have street parking available as well.

He has stayed with us for almost 2 years and only is leaving because he is done studying . He used to call me mom and my daughters sister and went with us on many trip/adventures around the area. He had never really been to a amusement park and loved doing Kings Dominion for Halloween and Christmas specifically.
