THE HOUSE
We live in a beautiful Spanish villa, located in Playa de Gandia, a mere 330 meter walk from the amazing Gandia Beach offering 15kms of beautiful Mediterranean sand and surf. We pride ourselves in providing a welcoming, clean and relaxed home, free from judgement and stereo types. Our home promotes and encourages creativity, free speech and respect of others and their beliefs. We have a private 100,000 liter swimming pool that can reach temperatures of 39 degrees during the warmer months. We have Wi-fi, English TV and movie channels, and over 10,000 movies to improve listening skills. We love to play games of all kinds and therefore have a variety of different games available to choose from.
THE FOOD
Included in the hosting fee, you can expect 3 balanced meals using the foods in season, picnic lunches, snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. Our evening meal is where we love to gather and talk about the day and go over the following days itinerary.
It is not uncommon to have themed evening meals which will include the traditional music to go along with the theme. We include our guests in the menu and theme planning. We encourage our guests to get involved by helping prepare meals and snacks. If they have a favorite dish that they would like to share, we can arrange this as well.
THE LOCATION
Gandia is a fantastic, friendly, low crime city on the east coast of Spain. Its old town is home to the 15th-century Los Borja Ducal Palace. The Archaeological Museum of Gandia has prehistoric artifacts. To the west, the Monastery of Sant Jeroni de Cotalba has Moorish cloisters. Parpallo-Borrell Natural Park encompasses the Cueva del Parpallo, an Upper Paleolithic?era cave.
Gandia is conveniently close to all amenities such as, beaches, shopping centres, nature reserves, cultural and historical sites.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is easy and in abundance. A short 10 minute public bus will take you into the gorgeous town of Gandia. Fast trains run from Gandia to Valencia for ease of sight seeing in Valencia.
Valencia Airport is a one hour drive, and Alicante Airport is about 1.5 hours. Pick up and drop off can be arranged for a fee. Pick up from Gandia Train station is included in the hosting fee.

We stayed at this place for 3 nights and it was really good. The room and the bathroom (the most important thing) were clean and tidy. In terms of location, it is close to Arthur's seat, city center and the beach. Both David and his wife are quite helpful who would give you privacy when you need it and would engage with you in a long conversation when you are free. Ceder (the dog) is very friendly and if you try to spend some time with her, you both would become best buddies. One thing to point out, although the room was nice, it might be a bit small for 2 people (I stayed with my younger sister) And David thank you for allowing us to keep our luggage at your place even after the checkout time, as we went to the beach and it wasn't possible for us to go there with our luggage.

If you like walking to get places, his location is within walking distance of many things you may want to see or do while in Freeport/Lucaya--especially the Port Lucaya Marketplace & one of the scuba diving/dolphin experience businesses on the island. (If you're not a fan of walking, renting a car is just as convenient.) Relaxing on the balcony & enjoying the amazing view was definitely a nice feature! David's son was taking care of the place while I was there & he was great about making sure I had everything I needed & was a good conversationalist as well. David is also very prompt in responding to messages which was great since I booked my trip somewhat last-minute, so knowing my accommodations were set was a huge relief. He & his son appear to be in regular communication, so everything is handled promptly. I highly recommend!

What a perfect place to stay. From the comfort and amenities offered this space has it all. Comfortable bed, warm and toasty room while its snowing and windy outside. The shared bathroom is great, really awesome shower. The location is great 200m in either direction to public transport. Less than a mile to Holyrood Park and 1.5 to the Royal Mile, and Palace. It was the perfect place for us, we loved it. Can’t wait to come back.

They will give your detailed travel suggestions when you need. 4. The location is easy to find( Drome the train station is about (Website hidden by Airbnb) close to beach(10-15mins walking). This is an EXCELLENT Freeport rental, in my most humble opinion. The condo is located the 6th floor of a building which overlooked the most amazing view. I was able to watch the sunrise from our bed almost every morning and the sunset from the other side of the 6th floor each night. You can even see some of the Port Lucaya Marketplace right across the water. The room itself is spacious, with two double beds pushed together to make a king, your own private bathroom (which was also quite spacious) and private entrance/exit to the shared balcony (which is the perfect spot to enjoy your breakfast and/or other meals). There is also lots and LOTS of drawers and closet space. More than my boyfriend and I could have ever hoped to fill. The kitchen is mostly equipped, clean and perfect for making your own meals. In terms of location, you really couldn’t ask for more in Freeport. It is about 27 minutes walking distance to almost everything: beaches, grocery store, Port Lucaya Marketplace, etc. There is also easy access to the public bus but I recommend you rent a bicycle for the week as it cuts all distances by more than half and gives you access to even more beaches. David was not in for the duration of my stay but his children Kyle and Rebecca were. They were AMAZING! Very knowledgeable about all the island had to offer, distances and potential costs. They were all around just lovely people that my boyfriend and I became quick friends with. If you’re ever staying in Freeport this is definitely the place you want to stay :)

David's place is unbeatable considering the price, location, and view from your room. While I did not get to meet David, his kids kyle and becky were there to help us with whatever we needed, give us advice on where to go and what to do, and even drove us around. We ended up spending a lot of time with them and consider them our new friends!! The place is exactly what it shows in the pictures...great location, clean, and a beautiful view. You have your own room, your own bathroom, a balcony, and we were welcome to use anything of theirs if needed. You are a short drive from the marketplace and Lucayan national park, and Kyle and Becky took us to Pier One Restaurant where they feed the sharks every hour while you are eating. I HIGHLY recommend you book this place If you are staying in Freeport. Great place and great people!!

The supermarket it’s 100 steps from their house. The room and the bed was the Best We had in our air bnb experience. David and Charlena take care of details and this made the experience more then Just renting a room! Bathroom and Kitchen perfect! The room also have the own frigde for the guests with some options of apetizers Just for ￡0,50 pence. We love it the apartament, the hosts and Ceader the cute poodle Thank you David and Charlena!
