Welcome To Our Caribbean House and Canada's only themed Caribbean Homestay.
After visiting our Caribbean friends & extended family for many years we have decided to bring the beach & the Caribbean home to Canada, Our house is being transformed into our very own tropical /beach paradise with Caribbean theme. Beach friendly decor, snacks, fun friendly chill environment, Island music ,themed nights, movies and more.
We want you to experience the hospitality we feel when we visit the beautiful islands of the Caribbean and it's people.

Located between bus and train station and just off hwy 401.You will have access to fridge,kitchen,laundry,There are 3 city buses just outside my door. You will be able to access everything the city has to offer. I have no problems helping with directions, taking you to queens and showing you where you need to go, arranging a taxi for your night out, or booking attractions for you when needed.
We are friendly,outgoing, fun ,low maintenance, opinionated,sarcastic,good sense of humor,easygoing.not judge mental.
We will start up a conversation with a complete stranger. and try to help any way we can.
We eat healthy but can't get a rid of pizza, poutine, burgers.
We like watching sports Queens and local college games.
Ufc, bball, football, drag cars, dancing, beach,swimming pools, amusements, parks,water parks,socializing, comedy, Caribbean cruises.

I have many medals for Ontario and Canada in power lifting, 100 m sprints, I do respite care for the developed mentally disabled and also going back to school to work in the health care field...I have 5 grandchildren .
I will be glad to take your request and to help you in any way I can.

Kitchen: MUST CONSUME ALL FOOD AND DRINKS IN KITCHEN WITH EXCEPTION OF WATER.You have use of the kitchen to prepare your food. Please cook things at a LOWER TEMP to avoid the possibility of a fire. Always use a wood board when chopping food. Please wash your dishes put them away wipe counter when done.
Rinse out and recycle ALL cans,glass, plastic, paper and box board.
Cats: The cats are very friendly and love attention from guests.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR FOOD UNATTENDED AT ANY TIME OR THEY WILL MAKE IT DISAPPEAR. You can hide it in the microwave or oven if need be.
THEY ARE NOT allowed outside please keep screen door closed at all times.
IF YOU DO NOT LIKE CATS,ARE AFRAID OF THEM OR ALLERGIC PLEASE DO NOT BOOK HERE AS THIS IS NOT FAIR TO THEM.
Bathroom: After using the shower spray the tub area with cleaner and rinse out. Let me know if the bathroom requires my attention.
Please use your OWN TOILETRIES. If you feel you have forgotten an item the host can help you with that.
Washer/Dryer: After 7 pm weekdays,anytime on weekends for stays of 2 or more days. If less than that a small few will apply.
Noise/ Doors : Please keep your volume to a normal level as to not disturb other guests, be gentle when opening and closing doors.If you have your window open you may hear traffic outside.
Room checks will be done on a regular basis.
We ask you to follow some house rules to make your stay and others more enjoyable.If any of the below are not followed you will be asked to leave the premises. You will not be refunded for any money pertaining to your stay.
IF YOU DO NOT LIKE CATS,ARE AFRAID OF THEM OR ALLERGIC PLEASE DO NOT BOOK HERE AS THIS IS NOT FAIR TO THEM.
Drinking/Alcohol : You are more than welcome to have glass of wine, a couple beers, or a cooler. Must drink them in kitchen,living room or backyard.If things get out of control further action will be taken.
Smoking: This is a smoke free room even if you smoke outside do not book here.
Privacy: Respect each others space/privacy and belongings.There is no locks on the doors in hopes that the people who enter my home are trustworthy and will respect each other.
Security Deposit/ Damages: No charges or authorizations will be made unless I make a claim within 14 days of you leaving.Claims will include damages and stolen property of home and other guests.Damage to house or others belongings will result in extra fees.
Long term stays: You are required to purchase everything for yourself and label with your name on it. Wash your linens and clean your room this includes sweeping and helping to keep the main areas of the house clean.
The purchasing of toilet paper will be shared by each long term guest. This is for stays of 7 days or longer. If you are doing inclusive this will not apply.
If the above is being followed this will make for a much better experience for all people in the home..

Staying at Petrina's was amazing the room was excellent, cozy and very comfortable. Petrina was very hospitable and she looks after all of your needs. If you're looking for comfort I recommend her place. it's the best stay-in place in Kingston, and I'll recommend to everyone. Her cats welcome you at the door and you'll find your stay better than a five star hotel
