This is a townhouse in Brooklyn, where I live with my mother and 3 sons. We love to meet new people from around the world and share our home so our guests feel safe, secure, and comfortable. We speak English and Spanish and are available to help in any way we can to make your stay an enjoyable one. Our place is a great home base from which to explore and enjoy the city. We are about a 5 minute walk to the nearest subway and there are tons of buses nearby. You can get to Manhattan in less than 30 minutes by train. Everything is close: grocery stores, laundromat, restaurants, cafes, bars, a park, shopping area is walking distance.
We have 3 rooms available (only room#1 has a/c, other rooms have fans):
The first is a large private room with three windows that let in lots of sunshine. It accomodates 1-3 guests. It has a full sized (double) bed and a single size folding bed. There is a dresser, clothing rack with hangers/hooks, full length mirror, table with 2 chairs, a large comfy swivel chair, bedside table with lamp, reading light, and shelves. There is also a floor fan (all year) and air conditioning (June - September). We provide clean towels, bedding, pillows, blankets, and everything necessary for a comfortable stay.
The second room is medium sized and accomodates one person. It has a single bed, desk, floor lamp, reading light, floor fan, closet, full length mirror.
The third room is a shared room which accomodates 2 guests. It has 2 single beds and we rent each bed separately (only to females) so you may be sharing with a roommate (and potential new friend!). This room is also available for rent to 2 guests on the same reservation.
You'll have full use of the shared kitchen (except oven) and bathroom (basic toiletries provided). Basic breakfast items provided, including coffee and tea. All rooms are lockable with keys you will be provided. We provide fresh sheets, towels, blankets, pillows, basic toiletries(toothpaste, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, cotton swabs). Other items available for use: iron/board, hair dryer.
