We are an experienced homestay family and have been hosting international students for the past 10 years. Our home has 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. We are surrounded by a forest so there is no traffic noise. We have 1 friendly dog and 2 cats. Our daughters are 13 and 16. We have a pool and sauna in the complex. We are walking distance to schools and Starbucks! A short bus ride to Burquitlam Sky train station. We are near a library, two recreation centers, the beach and two malls.

I was a homestay student for 3 years with the Rundell family. They made me feel like part of the family. I had a great friendship with their oldest daughter since we were the similar age. In my first year, my homestay mum helped me with my English and my homework. The family took me on many outings. As I got older I spent more time with my friends. My homestay family were always very helpful and nice and didn't mind me spending time with friends. They always offered to take me on vacations and trips. I am now studying at university in Vancouver and we are still friends. I still visit. I recommend them as a great Canadian family to live with.
