HELLO New Student and Intern! I'm Merlyn and have been hosting for 5 years. After traveling to countries like Canada, the West Indies and here in the USA I have lots of amazing memories and hope to help you make some great memories here in NYC! You'll enjoy this comfortable home in a great area with lots to do! I'm a few blocks from a big, gorgeous park with pond, running track, baseball field, soccer field, handball courts, basketball courts and water sprinklers in the summer! I'm a few minutes from Brooklyn and a 20 minute Uber or bus & train ride away from the famous New York City / Manhattan! There are several stores just around the corner with a 24 hour laundromat and 24 hour convenience stores for you last minute needs. The Shopping Mall has lovely shops & restaurants and is only a 10 minute Uber ride away. There are workout gyms, spas and movie theaters all over town and a host of restaurants in NYC serving food from all over the world so you will always have a taste of home no matter where you are from!

About my place, my house is furnished with new Stainless Steel Appliances & Hardwood Floors! The rooms are furnished with 2 Beds, Table, Chair, 32 inch TV, WiFi, Towels, Wash Clothes, Bed Linens & Pillows, Clothes Hangers, Iron, Ironing Board, Lamps, Night Stand, A/C, Heat and Cable TV & Roku & Amazon fire sticks to watch favorite shows on Netflix and movies during your stay!

About me, I'm usually out and about visiting family, helping friends, working or running errands but I'm just a phone call or text away to address your needs and make your homestay a comfortable one. We'll enjoy each other's company when we respect each other's privacy, keep the house free from smoke, pets and extended visitors. I forgot to mention that I provide a variety of tasty meals whatever time you want to eat! At my homestay you will have a great study environment and lots of fun exploring NYC!

Keep in mind that I'm located next to JFK Airport and I can answer ANY questions you may have about anything and will be happy to help you figure things out like airport pickup or your route to school when you arrive for your stay! Hope to see you soon!
