My husband and I are Candians living in Spain. We speak english at home, and offer a warm family atmosphere, good healthy food, varied activities and language support to make your stay enjoyable. We have been hosting students of all ages for over 2 years. We can host boys or girls aged 8-16 and our maximum hosting capacity is 4 children. .We live in the countryside and have a pet rabbit that runs free in the large garden, Our family diet is as much as possible organic and mostly vegetarian, with home baked bread and tasty home cooked meals If requested we can accommodate other kinds of diets.We always eat our evening meal together as a family and as most kids like to cook, they help to prepare the evening meal with us if they want.Activities we share with our guests are arts and crafts, cooking, gardening, walking and nature outings, sightseeing and others. It depends on our guests. We ensure our time together is fun with lots of opportunities for speaking and listening to increase the confidence of the student.
We love water sports in the summer, including swimming, snorkelling and boogie boarding,
And of course beach games like patanca and padel.
In the winter we hike local trails, and enjoy cozy evenings at home where we can play cards and other board games or help the students with their homework.
Students have their own double room and bathroom, space to work and Internet access.
We can help to organise a language course in a language school nearby, or I can teach you English and English conversation at home.
