Welcome to our large quirky town house in Cork city with in WALKING DISTANCE TO CITY CENTER!
DINNER is INCLUDED in all prices.
Cork city has been voted multiple times by The Lonely Planet as one of the friendliest places in the world! Our house is over 300 years old and full of unique character. We have spent the last 3 years updating our house so it is warm welcoming and spacious. Our house is 3 stories with 5 bedrooms, with a very cool basement living room with a wood burning stove and 5 foot long aquarium. We we spend much time here!
Our student & guest rooms are large with double bed, tall ceilings and large windows. We have a very spacious city garden with lots of trees, where we like to entertain with our guests, students and friends.

Our house is in the oldest part of cork city, just on the edge so offers privacy, but only minutes by bus or walking to the city center and other areas. There is a large shopping center, a 24 hour shop, a hotel, and lots of bars and restaurants close by. A 5 minute drive takes us into the country side where we like to walk in the famous village of Blarney where the Blarney stone is located.
Our house is over 300 years old, and our basement living room with wood burning stove and 5 foot aquarium, this is where we spend much of our time with guests, family and friends. We also love our city garden, it is a private haven which makes you think you are not even in the city. When it is dry we like barbecues as food and cooking is a big part of our daily lives.

Jason and Sarina are the best of the best. The room is spacious and comfortable, the house is perfectly clean and the dinner they prepare are really tasty (and included in the prize of the room!). They treated us like we were their children. We felt at home with them! They are both nice, kind, friendly and generous. We strongly recommend them!

I would like to thank you for the best moments that I had in Ireland. When I left my country I felt a little bit worry about what was waiting for me. However, since when I arrived I had the better experience that I could imagine. I felt like I was living with my family, in many aspects. I remember everytime you ask me if I was bored or feeling bad. I remember the times that we spent on dinner and sofa talking, laughting and watching X factor. I felt that I had a " white card" in your house. Like Sarina said: "Do what you want to do. We are your family now. Feel like you are in your home..." I can't forget Jason's food, the best that I ever tried in Europe and even in my country. Thanks for show me Chippotle sauce haha. I really appreciate for the moments that we had... At the shopping mall, supermarket, in irish culture, helping me in my UK trips... You're the best. I'm sure I learned more with you at home than in another english course that I ever did. Now, I know that a have a family and good friends. Thanks to call me on Skype after I left Ireland, thanks for everything. I'm waiting for your visit in Brazil.

Sincerely, I have spent 11 beautiful weeks in Jason and Sarina‘s homestay. Jason and Sarina family are very kind, nice and welcoming people, plus they will look forward to help you if you have any questions or problems.
The house is very clean and well located. You are 15 min walk from the city centre and you can park your car near from the house. Next, you have the Blackpool commercial centre at 5 min walk where you can find anything you want, and also a couple of gym and fitness facilities.
The food was wonderful, I can ensure you that Sarina and Jason cook very well, and you can trust me because food is one of my hobbies as a French guy.
To sum it up, I spent an unforgettable trip in Ireland thanks to Jason and Sarina and I have also met people that I would never had the opportunity to know if I did not choose to go to their homestay.
So thank you Jason, thank you Sarina and if I have the opportunity to come back in Cork you can be sure that I will come back to say hello
