We are a small busy family with a friendly trained dog. The house is mostly quiet, clean, comfortable and bright. We are 7 minutes from the train station and 10 minutes by train to the city center.
The 27A bus is at the top of the road and will bring you into the city in 10 minutes.
The 31 bus is 4 minutes walk away and brings you to the door of DCU.
We live near the coast and to walk there it will take 15 minutes and if you take the walk through Saint Anne's park to the seafront you won't regret it, it is a beautiful park and an enjoyable walk, great for photography!
Dublin Airport is 15 minutes by car away from the house. We are near Eastpoint business park, two stops on the train, a five minute journey.
The infamous Rose Gardens at St Anne's park, Howth, Portmarnock and Malahide, DIT, DCU, Trinity College, UCD, and all English language schools and colleges in the city center. We live along the dart-line (train line) so easy quick access to the city, south Dublin and North county Dublin.
There is a single private room with a very comfortable single bed with an equally comfortable mattress, a wardrobe and bedside locker. The room looks out onto the large rear garden with trees and greenery, an old barrel sauna which is disconnected at the moment, a large trampoline, the back of the house is not overlooked and is private and quiet.

The LUXURY SOFA BED is in the living room where we sometimes watch tv and relax when we get a chance, this room is available for 1 person from 9pm every night to the following morning, The guest can then move into the kitchen for breakfast, have a shower and check out or get ready to leave for work, college or explore the city and surrounding area. This can be available for as little as 1 night and is ideal for anyone on a quick visit to Dublin or a stop-over while waiting for a flight/ferry and also for those looking for longer stays. The room is very peaceful, comfortable and warm and ideal for studying, so students are welcome for longer stays, but please keep in mind if you are a student this is not solely YOUR room until 9pm every night.

There is a driveway you can park your car in. Our neighborhood is reasonably quiet and safe and Raheny village has shops, post office, banks, libraries where students from schools and colleges in the area study, pubs, hairdressers, pharmacies and is a 5 minute walk away. I offer transfer to and from Dublin airport for a lesser fee than a taxi as the airport bus does not stop near the house. It is the same distance from the city to my house as it is from the airport, so transfers are at the same price. If you are flying into Dublin airport late at night I recommend getting a taxi to my house because public transport stops operating around 23.20 and if you miss the last dart or bus I cannot collect you. I can collect a guest from the airport up until 9pm on week days at the weekend it will be up to 11pm at the latest for a fee of fifteen euro. I work from home Monday to Friday so guests cannot hang out in the house all day on these days. There is a lot to explore no matter what the weather is like!
