We are a friendly and out-going family who live in a luxury six-bedroom, seven bathroom house, on the Wexford / Wicklow border, one hour’s drive from Dublin, Ireland's capital city.
We are a short walk from beautiful sandy beaches in one of Ireland’s most popular tourist destinations. Wexford is known as the sunny south east with many heritage sites and exciting activities. Wicklow is the Garden of Ireland with beautiful mountainous vistas including Glendalough, one of Ireland’s most visited sites.

We are both highly qualified TEFL teachers and can offer group English lessons for €25 per hour. We have a strong educational focus and emphasise learning through having fun. We feel that learning is extremely important and the most effective and meaningful way to learn is through being involved in interesting and engaging activities. Since our backgrounds are in policing and teaching we are highly trained in child protection and first aid and prioritise child safety.

We are both at home FULL TIME as hosting students while teaching them is our full time business.

We enjoy exploring, having new adventures, meeting new people, travelling, experiencing culture and spending time with family. We love being outdoors and we get great enjoyment and satisfaction from teaching!

We enjoy eating healthy food - we have 2 vegetarians in the family - and three meat-eaters - so we can cater to the culinary preferences of our guests. Our kitchen is always full of fresh fruit, vegetables and local produce. We like to cook a variety of meals from around the world and to try new things! The kids love baking biscuits, cakes and making fresh smoothies. We are also used to catering for food-allergies.

We have a lovely dog and a number of beautiful native breed Kerry Bog Ponies and Connemara Ponies to suit all levels and ages of rider. We own our own equestrian centre - Wild Mountain Equestrian - and are very involved with horses - we can offer a free trial of horse-riding; group horse-riding lessons for €35 per hour (individual lessons for €70 per hour). This can involve a group hack to the beach, for example, or an individual schooling or jumping lesson.


We want our guests to have great fun in a safe environment, to feel like they are part of our family, to learn English, to experience the wonderful history and culture of Ireland and to go home looking forward to the next time they can visit Ireland!
