Our home is situated in a pleasant little town on the West coast of France not far from the beach (25 minutes by car or there is a bus at 10 minutes walk). We have a big garden. You can take the train to go to La Rochelle, Bordeaux or Nantes, Poitiers and Paris. The railway station is at 20 minutes walk. We are near downtown and as my husband runs a bicycle rental business we can lend you a bike to travel in our town, it's easier to get everywhere you want and it's flat so the ride is very easy and pleasant.

I am honoured to write a reference letter for my friend DAISY GIRARD whom i have known since
my arrival in France two years ago .
Daisy and i met in the highschool where she was working as an english teacher and i had come
from KENYA to stay in that same highschool while working in an adjacent middle school as an
english teaching assistant .Since then she became part of my new family, i consider her as my elder
sister and my best guitarist.
Being a kenyan,i am proud to say that my deep immersion into the french eating culture is all
thanks to her hospitality and generosity .The first french person to charmingly and warmly invite
me for lunch at her house ! She lives in a comfortable and friendly environment with her cute
family.
Daisy is a very responsable woman with a big heart towards humanity regardless of your
background or race.She is a good listener ,an advisor and a counsellor whom you can rely on for
intelligent advice when faced with life dillemas .
The thing that i admire the most in DAISY,is her helpful nature that isn ‘t restricted to matters of
studies or work but is extended to personal matters too .I am always humbled to have crossed paths
with her !Her fluency in english is also top notch !
Daisy is very creative in her workshops,business and life in general.
For all these reasons and more others unwritten above,I definetely recommend her to you without
resevation .
