Our home has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The guestroom you will stay in is located on the first floor, so you will have plenty of privacy. (All other rooms are upstairs) The guest bathroom is right next to the guestroom, so it is easily accessible. The laundry room is also next to the guestroom.
The kitchen and living room is an open floor plan. The kitchen table seats 6 with lots of room for meals. You are welcome to cook as much or as little as you'd like.
The swimming pool in the backyard is a nice, refreshing, calming oasis with a full length waterfall for extra relaxation. We also have a charcoal barbecue grill and like to bbq and listen to music while we swim.
Our daughter is 13 (almost 14) years old and very calm and keeps to herself. Our son is an adult, he is 21 years old and works with his Dad each day. He is very quiet and also keeps to himself and spends a lot of time in his room. Host Mom works from home (upstairs) and also owns her own business where she will have appointments on short notice.
We are a very quiet, yet relaxed family. We love to watch movies, listen to music on the weekends, go for walks, bike rides, and play soccer at the park.

The City of Maricopa is a very nice, new, growing community located about 30 minutes south of Phoenix. Our current population is about 50,000 people and growing fast with lots of new homes being built. It is mostly young families with school aged children.
We have a wonderful big recreation complex called Copper Sky with parks, a lake, soccer fields, basketball courts, indoor gym, and fun festivals. (https://www.maricopa-az.gov/departments/community-services/copper-sky)
We also have lots of fast-food eating options, a few sit down restaurants, small town bakery, and other big stores, like Wal-Mart, Fry's Grocery Store, Ross, Walgreens, CVS, etc.
In addition, we are close to the Ak-Chin Multi-tainment Center and Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino. The Casino has great restaurants too. The Multi-tainment center has bowling, movies, restaurants, a night club, bar, arcade, and laser tag.
Our home is located in "The Lakes at Rancho El Dorado" and we have waterfalls and man-made lakes where we like to bike around and take walks around the neighborhood. There are also many mini-parks with grassy area that we like to play soccer. It truly is a wonderful neighborhood. :)
